Mobility & More is seeking an experienced sales professional to work onsite at one of our Mobility & Medical Supply retail showrooms.

 

Two locations: Charlotte, NC (Crownpoint area) or Indian Land, SC (Red Stone area)

Job Type: Full-time W-2 (Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM)

Minimum Qualifications: ‬

  • At least 2 years of Sales Experience

  • Customer Service Experience

  • Good Interpersonal Skills

  • Must be ok with working independently

  • Excellent verbal communication skills -- polite, friendly, helpful, and courteous‬‬

  • Detail-oriented, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to follow through to the

  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments timely and accurately

  • Displays professionalism and a positive attitude

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

  • ‪Proficient and strong computer skills

  • Multi-Tasker

‬‪Preferred Characteristics:

  • Entrepreneurial Minded

  • DME Experience within a Home Medical Equipment Company, Pharmacy‬ , or Surgical Supply Company‬

  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment - Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters, Accessibility Equipment, Liftchairs, Hospital Beds, Incontinence Supplies‬ etc..

  • Knowledge of billing guidelines and resources for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

DELIVERY DRIVER / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are a growing company in need of a full-time or part-time Delivery Driver/Service Technician to join our team in Matthews, NC. Are you looking for a rewarding work opportunity? THE OPPORTUNITY:
* Growth - In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing, and delivering motorized wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, stairlifts, modular ramps and other medical equipment and supplies. We provide technical training to help ensure your success. This is a great opportunity to leverage your technical knowledge while expanding your skillset.

* Compensation – Mobility & More offers a competitive hourly wage based on your experience and technical knowledge. Wage increase after 45 days. Monthly bonus opportunities. 

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability * Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. routinely * Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits * Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record and proof of insurance * Previous DME equipment service and repair a plus but not required * High school diploma or equivalent (GED) * Have a professional appearance and attitude * Have a smartphone & own vehicle * Be detailed oriented and reliable!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Delivery of mobility scooter, lift chairs, wheelchairs, hospital beds, and other medical supplies. Ability to troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and malfunctions of mobility products and related medical equipment • Repairs, calibrates and maintains equipment • Dismantle mobility equipment and examine for damage or defects • Documents functional checks and repairs of equipment • Instruct customer on proper operation and care of the equipment • Address customer concerns in a patient and timely fashion • Tests medical equipment to ensure customer safety from electrical or mechanical hazards • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures • Keep warehouse, van, equipment and service area clean, neat, stocked and organized for the purpose of maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
